I am hoping to have an engaging and fun semester with you where we can all grow in our understanding of the Universe!
Here are some initial tasks and documents which will be useful as we progress.
Course Outlines:
SPH3U1
SPH4C1
Physics Handbook

Task 1: Sign up for Classroom:
z2npo3l

Task 3: Creation of your personalized Physics Booklet
- Take approx. 30 lined sheets (no more), a front cover and a back cover and staple your lab booklet together.
- FOR HOMEWORK Complete your cover page and include: name, course code + Physics Booklet, and draw an image(s) about something that interests you in the realm of physics.

Task 4: Working With Numbers
Numbers need to be measured!!! measuring devices or sensors have specific characteristics that need to be considered in the context of the numerical values they produce. Here is the content that will allow us to deal with those measured values in a uniform and appropriate manner.
Scientific notation review: useful for representing very large values and very small values. It is also helpful to display the correct number of significant digits or figures as will be discussed later.

3) Accuracy and precision:

4) Table measurement and class discussion:
Each table group will be given a different measuring device and must measure the length of their table as well as they can. Students can use what ever units they want but they are not to use any other materials as a reference of length.
Record values on the white board and discuss as a group the significance of each value and whether any groups were misleading with their recorded value.
5) Significant figures:
