School Renovations -
New Schools -

Task: Ask questions to our panelists and engage in discussion about HDSB transitioning to a more sustainable institution.

  1. In table groups, use the chart paper to first list DATA that is important to the task at hand. Use the resources above and further online research. Please clarify and ask me questions.
  2. Use a second sheet of chart paper to make statements about the data gathered.
  3. Use a final sheet of chat paper to write articulate questions and discussion starters about how and when HDSB can and should transition to a sustainable institution.
  4. Time permitting start again at the beginning and ask what types of data was chosen and why. Are there data points that were missed and if so how might they change the statement and question sections.

4U - Rocket Project Introduction

Hello all,

Sorry I'm not in today. I'm at planning with Rhodes....

Let's do the best we can....

Here is the rest of the course! All... (almost all) information and resources should be available here:
https://docs.google.com/document/d/1Bjp_jw6Act1Q8eci8_Ox9ZaiQfIoGLoe4z-rdztAe2g/edit?usp=sharing

For today you can see agenda and work to be completed with links.

Forming groups is important so that our Robotics crew can be a part of it.

You may not like it but there is method to my..... methods

Three teams (you can rename yourselves latter:) 2 teams of four and 1 team of three

Team 1: Jackson, + , + , +

Team 2: Cody, +, +, +

Team 3: Jackie, +, +, +

Create a team folder and share with me. Each folder should have the following:

  • A sub folder for each group member using their name as the title with their personal log inside

Complete Appendix A in your lab booklet to be submitted by Wednesday.

(For the Robotics crew. While you are gone you should work on certification blocks 1A - 1D once back you can complete the certification tests. )

Thanks, Have a good day

March 25th Class Instructions

Hello all,

We will start our discussion and study of Kinematics (the study of motion). We have looked at why things move (forces) now we turn our focus to how things move (kinematics). Today please read though and take notes as needed for the 3 following sections. These are mostly review for us at this point as we have indirectly talked about them earlier in the course. The goal now is to consolidate your knowledge of these variables so that we can start to solve problems using them hopefully starting tomorrow.

Good luck and have fun!
